FBS.NET and Sprint have partnered to offer Bundled T1 Service in all of Sprint's Florida territory and selected portions of BellSouth's Central Florida territory (Orlando, Sanford & Lake Mary). If your business has more than 6 lines and would benefit from a dedicated Internet connection, this service may be just what you are looking for. It is also a great choice for those locations that can't get DSL service.
Here's how it works. Sprint installs a T1 circuit at your location. A T1 circuit is comprised of 24 channels, each capable of carrying a single analog phone call or 64K of data. Your T1 is configured to replace between 6 and 20 of your existing lines and give you between 256K and 768K of dedicated Internet access. Sprint provides your local dialtone (at a considerable discount) and long distance for $0.06 per minute.
The cost of this service has several components. There is a one time $200 charge for installation. Equipment is provided by FBS.NET. Monthly costs include the charge for the circuit, local dialtone and long distance (billed by Sprint) and the charge for Internet services (billed by FBS.NET). Internet access can be billed at a flat rate OR at a burstable "pay for what you use" rate. The following tables illustrate typical charges for this service in Sprint territory. Prices will vary slightly in BellSouth territory.
